The only problem we had was that this present was opened first! Easy to put together and was her favorite Christmas present. I can't believe the price on such a good product. I highly recommend it. My daughter is 4 and fits perfectly.

Got this for my Sons 3rd birthday and he absolutely loves this peddle car. He zooms around the house and playground like a pro. I would buy it again and think its a great product with a few minor quirks.

Pro:
- tons of fun
- solid construction
- all the other kids wish they had one

Improvements I would have liked:
- put a freewheel in (would have allowed your kid to keep his feet on the peddles while he is coasting or being pulled up a hill) Some models have a shifter that disengages the Gear to coast freely but that requires shifting and older kids, 5 and up to grasp the concept. I will probably put a freewheel on my self and make this a perfect peddle car.

I bought this for my 3 year old boy, he loves it. It came in almost assembled. Not a big deal to put together. Good deal for the price.

My son loves his Kettcar! We bought this for our son's 4th birthday and he loves it! Even his cousin, who is 10, rides the Kettcar when he comes to visit. Sweet ride!

We just got this for our soon to be four year old as an early birthday present. He loves it. He took to it immediately - no learning curve needed. He can't stop showing it off to his friends and family. Ho loves how he can go forwards and backwards. We love it's good engineering and durability. Also it's deceptively light and easy to transport to the park. All in all, an excellent pedal car compared to many we saw and that our son "test-drove" at various stores - not to mention it is a fantastic value as well.

We enjoy this car! We have had it for over a month and my 3 year old son loves it. He is taller than average and fits in it great (on one of the smaller settings). He did not know how to pedal before this car, but quickly figured it out and now pedals even on his little bike. He loves the steering action and likes to drive on roads we draw on the driveway with sidewalk chalk. My 8 year old daughter enjoys it too (she's a little big for it lengthwise when it is on the largest setting but she can still pedal it#. All our neighbor kids take turns on it even though they are 10-12 year olds, #they are under the weight limit). We are very happy with it and highly recommend it.

Got a kettler CAT front loader and a Classic Flyer for my grandchildren who were coming to visit. While either grandchild could use either one, I bought the front loader with my 3 year old grand son in mind and the Classic Flyer with my 6 year old grand daughter in mind. As expected, both grand son and grand daughter went for the front loader first - it just looks neat with functioning bucket and trailer car. It only took a few minutes, though for the 6 year old girl to switch to the classic flyer - it was just faster, sleeker, and fit her better. My 3 year old grand son worked with the front loader for a bit longer but in the end, even he found it a bit too small, and very slow. So, they both wanted to use the kettcar classic flyer and neither wanted to bother with the slow and a bit difficult to use front loader. The Classic Flyer was easy to assemble, took me maybe 45 minutes (assembly time probably shorter than that but getting tools, reading instructions, checking contents of bag, etc, overall took about 45 minutes). The Kettler Kettcar American Flyer is great fun - you can go pretty fast, skid around corners, and generally have daring fun with the car. I think much over 7 and it will be too small, even though the seat adjusts. Much less than a pretty advanced 3 and the concept of a breakhandle, peddles to go, and a steering wheel to turn might be a bit much. Overall, I liked the Classic Flyer better than the front loader, even though, as a grandpa, my heart was with the CAT front loader.

This is a great pedal car for a 4 year old. The quality is excellent and rides really smooth. All 3 of my kids love it. It is much too small for my 6 year old son and my 8 year old daughter but fits perfectly for a 4 or 5 year old. We love it!

This great toy has transformed my 3 1/2 year old grandson from a couch potato to a kid that needs to be dragged in when it gets dark. When we first got it he had a lot of trouble with peddling -- I think he just hadn't done much with his legs. It took about an hour, with an adult helping by pushing when he peddled, not pushing when he let his feet fall off the peddles. Then he 'got it', and has never looked back. Fortunately we have lots of paved driveway to peddle on, without leaving the property. I'd say a kid this young would not be safe on a sidewalk because they can really go quite fast in the Kettcar and are likely to steer where they are looking, which might be right at trouble. So, it needs supervision in many settings. But for play value it gets a big 10!

Great product, but don't buy from Amazon link Kwickargo!!!! Zero feedback from seller. No tracking number, didn't ship on dates it said it would, didn't return phone calls or even answer phone. Then cancelled our order 5 days before Christmas.
Don't make the same mistake we did and have to scramble.
DO NOT BUY FROM KWICKARGO!!!

15.) Great Pedal Car

We bought this pedal car for our 5 year old son. He loves it!!!! The only problem is that it's a little short for him and it's on the last adjustment for the seat. Our son is probably shorter than average so make sure you buy for your kid when they are 3 not 5. He doesn't care but I can tell the life of the car with him will not be as long as I had hoped. Awesome car though and he likes that he can pedal forward or backward like a "real" car. Fun fun fun. I highly recommend it.

My daughter got this one for Christmas. She wanted this one in particular so Santa Claus brought it for her. It is lightweight so it's very easy for her to peddle and steer. She is on the small side for her age (she's 5 and weighs about 40 lbs) but she has no problem peddling this car (she can even pick it up to turn it around). We have the larger one for our 10 year old and it is very heavy (too heavy to pick up and turn around). Our son doesn't ride the big one too much so our daughter will have one to move up into when she outgrows the little one! I got it quite a bit cheaper through a different company.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. We live in a house that has a very steep driveway. She took a tumble on her tricycle that very effectively demonstrated how unstable tricycles are. So, I got this for her. There is no way she can tip this over and there are two ways she can slow down if she gets going too fast, so it is much safer. The pedals are not coaster pedals, so that is the main speed control on hills, but if her feet slip off, there is an easy to use hand brake. She also gets great exercise from peddling it and she has learned how to steer and brake, so it's been a good purchase.
